About Ace

Ace Grip Socks was founded in 2025 at the intersection of Pilates, design, and confidence.

Ace was created to make people feel grounded, supported, and empowered in the studio and beyond. From the way you move to the way you show up, Ace is about confidence through movement and bringing personality into spaces where it matters.

Ace was founded by Liz Detrow, whose background in both Pilates and fashion design shaped the brand from the beginning. With experience building and designing apparel brands, Liz brought a design-led approach to a category that often felt overlooked.

As Ace grew, so did the community around it.

In 2026, Ace Access launched as an extension of the brand, bringing Ace into real life through curated Pilates and wellness events. Ace Access creates spaces to move together, connect, and experience the brand through intentional, in-person experiences.

Ace is a woman owned brand based in San Diego, built around movement, confidence, and showing up fully, in and out of the studio.
